Donna E. Bingham, 75, of Mexico, passed away on Tuesday, October 19, 2021, at University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, October 25, 2021 at Arnold Funeral Home with Rev. Sean McIntyre conducting the service.

Visitation will be on Monday, October 25 from 10:00 A.M. until time of services at the funeral home.

Mrs. Bingham was born on August 30, 1946 in Mexico, the daughter of Robert and Blanche (Naysmith) Leist.  She was raised in Vandalia, MO and attended Van Far High School.  On April 1, 1966, in Vandalia, she married Emmett Bingham.  They met when she worked as a nurse's aide at Audrain Medical Center.  During a 55+ year marriage they created a loving life, having two children and enjoying travel.

Donna loved to spend time gardening and belonged to a garden club.  She also enjoyed her book club and collecting dolls.  A special memory was a trip with her sister and niece to the Ice Capades starring Scott Hamilton as a headliner.  Donna enjoyed attending church and staying connected to her church family.  Family and friends recount how she always remembered special occasions and loved sending presents and cards to loved ones, even those she hadn't met.

Survivors include her husband, Emmett Bingham of Mexico; two sons, Robert R. Bingham of Mexico, Kendall Lee (Jennifer) Bingham of Grandview and one sister, Sandy Chandler of Vandalia.

Mrs. Bingham was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Blanche Leist.
