Donald "Doc" Lee Stuart, 76, of Mexico, passed away on Wednesday, January 22, 2025, at his home.

Doc was born on October 25, 1948, in Mexico, the son of Carl H. and Frances Lucille (Morris) Stuart. He graduated Community R-6 High School and was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in the Vietnam War as a gunship gunner.

Mr. Stuart was a truck driver and worked for Foster Brothers Wood Products, retiring after 21 years.

Survivors include one son, Jason Stuart of Tupelo, Mississippi; one granddaughter, Lynzi Danielle Stuart of Tupelo, Mississippi; and three siblings, Bonnie Stuart, Virgil Stuart, and Nanda (Bill) Hopkins, all of Mexico.

Doc was preceded in death by his parents and one son, Nicholas Stuart.

Private services at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Jacksonville will be at a later date.
