Donald Lee Farris, 82, of Mexico, passed away on Friday, June 21, 2024, at Boone Hospital Center in Columbia.

Donald was born on December 22, 1941, in Calwood, Missouri, the son of Charles Farris and Ethel (Landers) Farris.

In his earlier years, Mr. Farris had run a tow truck business and had a Texaco station in Fulton. He then worked for several years at A.P. Green until working at A.B. Chance for over 30 years. During these years, he also ran Farris Used Furniture Stores in Fulton and Mexico.

Donald attended Friendship Baptist Church. He also enjoyed fishing and collecting clocks.

Survivors include four children, Terry Lee Farris of Montgomery City, Donnie Lee Farris of Mexico, Steve Farris of Mexico, and Stefany Farris of Mexico; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; and one sister, Margaret "Sissy" Brewer of Fulton.

Mr. Farris was preceded in death by his father, Charles Farris; his mother, Ethel Isgrig; and three brothers, Emmett Farris, George "Plum" Farris, and Charles "Tiny" Farris.

Private services will be held at Elmwood Cemetery.
