Diana L. Renstrom

Diana Louise Renstrom, 72, of Martinsburg, passed away on Monday, September 21, 2026, at Pin Oaks Living Center in Mexico, Missouri.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, September 28, 2026, at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Derek Hooper officiating the service. Visitation will be on Monday, September 28, 2026, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Honorary pallbearers are, Matt Cope, Aaron Cope, Kevin Ahrens, Jeff Fennewald, Justin Poindexter, and Justin Stuckenschneider.

Private burial will be held in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery at Jacksonville at a later date.

Diana was born on July 3, 1954 in St. Louis, the daughter of Arthur Gustav and Frances Lillian (Folta) Renstrom.

Diana proudly served in the United States Navy and later continued her military service in the United States Navy Reserve. Diana worked as a phlebotomist at Audrain Medical Center for over 30 years. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and was actively involved in many aspects of the St. Joseph Parish. She had a great love for nature and animals and was especially well known for her knowledge of monarch butterflies. Diana enjoyed sharing that knowledge and her appreciation for the natural world with others. She also dearly loved her fur babies, who were her pride and joy and held a very special place in her heart.

Survivors include two brothers, Arthur Renstrom (Kay) of Martinsburg and Carl Renstrom (Cindy) of Weaver, Iowa; one sister, Christine Merrell of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; two nieces, Angie Buttrum (Nathan) of Mexico and Clarissa Renstrom of Weaver, Iowa; one nephew, Christopher Renstrom of Weaver, Iowa; one great niece, Aria Buttrom of Mexico; several cousins, including one she was close to, Donnell Folta.

Diana was preceded in death by her parents; one brother-in-law, Jay Merrell; one aunt, Anastasia Westhouse; and three uncles, Joe Folta, Judge Folta, and Don Folta.
