Diana Gail Schutte, 69, of Mexico, passed away on Friday, December 26, 2025, at her home.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 29,2025, at Arnold Funeral Home. Re. Jim Graham will be officiating the service. Burial will follow in Thompson Cemetery.

Visitation will be on Monday from 10 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home.

Diana was born on June 5, 1956 in Buckner, Mo, the daughter of Marion Barker and Carole Bonville.  On January 17, 1987 she married Ken Schutte in Thompson.

She found her greatest joy in the simple pleasures of life, especially spending time outdoors and creating things with her hands. She had a deep love for horseback riding, where she felt most at peace, whether riding the trails or caring for her horses. At home, she could often be found crocheting thoughtful gifts for family and friends or tending to her garden, which she nurtured with the same love she showed everyone around her. These hobbies reflected her spirit, strong work ethic, and the joy she found in caring for others and the world around her.

Survivors include her husband, Ken, of the home; one daughter, Samantha Brower; two grandchildren, Skyler Brower Kayla Brower; one brother, Bill (Vickie) Barker; two step-sons, Nick (Hailey) Schutte, Jarrod (Megan) Schutte; seven step-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; one dog, Ozzy.

Diana was preceded in death by her parents, Marion and Carole Barker.
