Diana Lynn Acuff Hurt, 75, of Mexico, passed away on February 19, 2026, at Monroe Manor in Paris.

A visitation will be held Sunday, March 1, from 2:00 – 4:00 at the Arnold Funeral Home.

Diana was born on February 23, 1950 in Mexico, the daughter of Ernest Acuff Jr. and Dorothy Rodgers. She was a 1968 graduate of Mexico High School and served on the committee for her class reunions.

She found great joy in the people and passions that filled her days. Her work family at Audrain Medical Center meant the world to her, and she treasured the friendships and laughter they shared. She rarely missed a good flea market or auction, always on the hunt for a unique treasure to add to her beloved salt and pepper shaker collection—a hobby that even took her to conventions where she met fellow collectors. She had a deep appreciation for genealogy and took pride in tracing family roots, preserving stories for generations to come. At home, she found peace in her garden and contentment in her needlework, creating beauty with patient hands and a loving heart.

Diana was also an Involved member at Bethel Presbyterian Church. She was a member of the women's circle there and always was willing to lend a helping hand.

Survivors include her brother, Ronald (Rachel) Acuff of Mexico; two nephews, Ryan (Erin) Acuff of Oklahoma City, OK, and Scott Acuff of Columbia; four great-nieces and great-nephews, Reagan Acuff, Conner Acuff, Nora Acuff, Cullen Acuff; numerous cousins; her three cats.

Diana was preceded in death by her parents Ernest and Dorothy Acuff, as well as her life-long companion, Ronnie Young.
