Derry Dwayne McArthur Wallace, 53, of Laddonia, passed away on Saturday, April 22, 2023, at his home.

Mr. Wallace was born on July 8, 1969 in West Helena, Arkansas, the son of Marie Wallace. He graduated from Arkansas State University in Jonesboro, Arkansas. He lived in Russellville, Arkansas for 13 years before recently moving to Laddonia.

Derry was an avid Seattle Seahawks fan. He loved to go on boat cruises and travel all over the world with his fiancé, Liv. Derry was a great cook and enjoyed Bar-B-Queuing. He would spend free time listening to an eclectic mix of music and could even be caught singing and dancing. Derry had a love for trying different foods and playing video games with his son, Trystin. Derry was a fun-loving guy, who enjoyed an occasional visit to a casino. He was a kind hearted guy who just loved life and lived his life to the fullest. Derry loved his dog, Sid and cats, KiKi and Patrick.

Survivors include his son, Trystin Wallace of Truman, AR; his fiancé, Olivia Reeves of Laddonia; two brothers, Joseph Flowers of Helena, AR and Billy Clyde Flowers of Helena, AR; two sisters, Brenda Flowers of Helena, AR and Dorthy Flowers of Helena, AR, as well as numerous close friends.

Derry was preceded in death by his mother, Marie Wallace; and grandmother, Lena Bell Reynolds.

A celebration is life is being planned for future dates in Jonesboro, AR, Russellville, AR and Mexico, MO.
