Dennis Ray Grandcolas, 70, of Mexico, passed away on Thursday, October 24, 2024.

Dennis was born on May 3, 1954 in Belleville, IL, the son of Raymond and Doris (Sanger) Grandcolas.  On March 3, 1984 he married Marilyn Garnett in Mexico.

Dennis was a vibrant soul whose passions shaped his life. In his younger years, he relished the thrill of riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle, embracing the freedom of the open road. His career was not just a job but a true passion; he began at KXEO/KWWR radio in Mexico and later became the proud owner of a local radio station in the Dallas area. He capped his professional journey as Vice-President of Sales for Universal Studios. Outside of work, Dennis dedicated himself to physical fitness, incorporating regular workouts into his routine. His zest for life and commitment to his passions will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Survivors include his wife, Marilyn Grandcolas of Mexico; two children, Eric (Michelle) Littrell of Thomson and Jessica (Jason) Johnson of Mexico; six grandchildren, Adam Littrell, Grafton Littrell, Savannah Littrell, Claire Cox, Trenton Johnson and Easton Johnson; one sister, Shirley Allen of O'Fallon, IL.

Dennis was preceded in death by his parent, Raymond and Doris Grandcolas.

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, November 10, 2024, from 1:00 to 3:00 P.M. for family and friends at 8 Melody Lane in Mexico.
