Della Nichole Smith, 49, of Mexico, passed away on Saturday, April 8, 2023, at her home.

No services are being planned at this time.

Ms. Smith was born on June 7, 1973 in Annapolis, Maryland, the daughter of Mike and Karen (Maybe) Jesse.  On May 15, 1992 she married Jerry Smith in Lewiston, Illinois.

Della was a great provider and mother.  She was a very caring person who always placed family first.

Survivors include her husband, Jerry Smith of Mexico; five children, Cody Smith, Christiana Smith, Caleb Smith, Ayden Smith and Trinity Smith; one brother, Jason Dickerson; one sister, Angele Hurley.

Ms. Smith was preceded in death by her parents, Mike and Karen Jesse; one child, Lacy Smith.
