Dave A. Bogdan, 66, of Mexico, passed away at 10:05 a.m. on Thursday, August 26, 2021, at the University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia.

Funeral Services will be at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, August 31, at Arnold Funeral Home with Fr. Dylan Schrader officiating. Burial will follow in St. Brendan Cemetery.

Visitation is Monday evening from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Dave was born on December 17, 1954 in Orland Park, Illinois, the son of John and Geraldine (Roman) Bogdan. On September 12, 1981, in Maywood, Illinois, he married Rosemary Jahnke.

Mr. Bogdan graduated from Carl Sandburg High School in Orland Park, Illinois, and then earned a Bachelor's Degree from Eastern Illinois University.

Dave worked for Teva Pharmaceuticals in Mexico until retirement. He was a member of St. Brendan Catholic Church and was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting, fishing and golf. He never met a stranger and loved to travel until his health declined.

Survivors include his wife, Rosemary Bogdan of the home; his mother, Gerry Bogdan of Frankfort, Illinois; three brothers, James (Sandy) Bogdan of Kentland, Indiana, Raymond Bogdan of Lockport, Illinois, and Ron (Dee) Bogdan of Richardson, Texas; one sister, Linda Bogdan (John Kelchner) of Frankfort, Illinois; and several nieces and nephews.

Dave was preceded in death by his father, John Bogdan.
