Darryl Wayne Miller

Darryl Wayne Miller, 70, of Marion, Arkansas, formerly of Columbia, passed away on Saturday, August 15, 2026, at The Springs of Broadway Health and Rehabilitation in West Memphis.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. on Saturday, August 22, at Arnold Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery.

Visitation will be Saturday from 11 a.m. until the time of services at the funeral home.

Darryl was born on July 8, 1956, in Mexico, the son of Austin L. and Willisteen (Davis) Miller. He graduated from Mexico High School in 1974 and went on to serve in the U.S. Navy, receiving an honorable discharge after two years of service.

At an early age, Darryl was introduced to Christ and was baptized at Second Missionary Baptist Church in Mexico. He was an avid sports fan and especially enjoyed following the St. Louis Cardinals and Oakland Raiders. He also enjoyed collecting baseball cards.

Darryl retired from Veterans United in Columbia.

Survivors include his mother, Willisteen Miller of Mexico; his wife, Nancy Miller of Columbia; four brothers, Austin (Christine) Miller of Mexico, Kenneth Lee Miller of Marion, Arkansas, Wendell Jerome “Jerry” (Tracy) Miller of Columbia, and Leslie Jay (Delores) Miller of Blytheville, Arkansas; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Austin Miller.
