Connor Triton Swaim, 16, of Fulton passed away on Tuesday, July 4, 2023, at his home.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Monday, July 10, 2023 at Arnold Funeral Home. Pastor Nick Drake will be officiating the service.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 9, from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
Connor was born on April 28, 2007 in Columbia, the son of Heather Brinker and Brent (Beccy) Swaim. He was a student at New Bloomfield High School.
Connor loved his family and friends. He had a special place in his heart for animals. In his free time, Connor would spend time playing video games, listening to music and most recently driving his car. He had just started his first job at Burger King and had big plans for all of his new found income. Connor was obsessed with shoes and his hair being just right. Connor had a big heart and was always willing to lend a helping hand.
Survivors include his parents, Heather Brinker of Mexico and Brent (Beccy) Swaim of Fulton; five siblings, Cadence Brinker of Mexico, Corbin Valentine of Columbia, Madison Swaim of Fulton, Kenzie Swaim of Fulton and Blake Swaim of Fulton; six grandparents, Leroy and Virginia Brinker of Mexico, Bill and Karen Swaim of Martinsburg and Charles and Sherry Wentz of Fulton; one great-grandparent, Beverly Corbin of Tekamah, NE; four aunts and uncles, Derek Brinker of Mexico, Amanda (Dustin) Qualls of Mexico, Angela (Jeremy) Wentz of Centralia and Marvin (Roxanne) Wentz of Georgia and several cousins.
Connor was preceded in death by one sister, Piper Brinker; Seven great-grandparents, Willard "Shorty" Swaim, Donna Swaim, Elroy and Edna Brinker, Frank and Eva Joyce James, Charles Corbin; two uncles, Willie Wentz and Steve Wentz.
The family requests memorial donations be made to the Audrain Humane Society.
