Cody Lee Jaeger, 27, of Mexico, passed away on Thursday, January 22, 2026, at his home.

A Celebration of Life will be at 6 p.m. on Saturday, January 31, at the KB Event Center, 12813 County Road 823, Mexico, MO.

Cody was born on February 2, 1998, in Columbia, the son of Ronald L. Jaeger and Lucinda M.D. Frosch.

Cody attended Mexico High School and was in the ROTC for a short time. He worked at Break Time, Taco Bell and Dollar Tree. He really enjoyed spending time with his family.

Survivors include his father, Ronald Jaeger of Mexico; Lucy (James) Walker of Jefferson City; brother, Dee'Oveyonn Belcher of Columbia; sister, Madison Walker of Jefferson City; grandmother, Lesa Frosch; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Cody was preceded in death by his brother, Logan Jaeger; grandparents, Earl and Rhonda Jaeger, Belinda Frosch, and Lewis Frosch; and cousin, Travis Kientzy.
