Clyde Arnold Willis, 74, of Laddonia, passed away on Friday, February 16, 2024, at his home.

Graveside Services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 22, at Jacksonville Veterans Cemetery in Jacksonville, Missouri with Kevin Wilkerson officiating.

Clyde was born on July 3, 1949, in Haleyville, Alabama, the son of Orland and Oleane (Bell) Willis. He married Lydia Hill on September 23, 1972.

Clyde enjoyed bowling, hunting, fishing, golfing and working on vehicles. His favorite thing to do was mowing. He took pride in the way his yard looked.

Clyde was a Vietnam War veteran and proudly served in the Missouri National Guard.

He is survived by his wife, Lydia; two daughters, Melinda Willis and Shelley Perkins; six step-children, Debra Cooper, Brenda Campbell, Billy Jones, Dorothy Ladner, Clifford Hinten, Jr. and Wendell Revels; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; numerous step-grandchildren, step-great-grandchildren and step-great-great-grandchildren; one brother, David Willis; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Clyde was preceded in death by step-son, Harold Hinten; three grandchildren, Josey Hinten, Brandy Teeter and Bryan Jones; and two siblings, Donald Willis and Glenda Burgess.

Memorial donations may be made to Laddonia Cemetery. They may be sent in care of Arnold Funeral Home, 425 S. Jefferson St., Mexico, MO 65265.
