Christopher Eugene Frye, 60, of Mexico, passed away on Tuesday, November 26, 2024, at his home in Mexico.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Christopher was born on November 19, 1964, in Washington, Missouri, the son of Walter and Mary (Wimmer) Frye. He was united in marriage to Marsha Renee Frye, who preceded him in death. Together, they shared many cherished memories and years of companionship.

A man of the outdoors, Christopher found joy in hunting and fishing, pastimes that brought him closer to nature and those he loved. However, much of his time and dedication was spent behind the wheel as a truck driver, contributing his skills and hard work to various industries throughout his career. In his leisure time, he attended demolition derbies and had an appreciation for classic cars and trucks, which never failed to bring a smile to his face.

In the last couple of years, Christopher found comfort and joy in daily phone conversations with his dear friend Joseph. These moments of connection were a true blessing and a highlight of his long days.

Survivors include his mother, Mary Frye of Mexico; a brother, Walter (Patti) Frye of Mexico; two nephews, Justin (Briana) Frye of Mexico and Tyler (Stephanie) Frye of Texas; a niece, Sierra (Dustin) Kelsay of Mexico; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.

Christopher was preceded in death by his wife, Marsha Renee Frye; and his father, Walter Frye.
