Christopher Allen Kramer, 64, of Martinsburg, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 28, 2024, at his home with his loving family and friends surrounding him.

Chris was born on June 13, 1959, in Mexico, the son of Frank Green and Jean (Malatich) Kramer. On June 19, 1982, in Martinsburg, he married Georgeanna Erwin.

Mr. Kramer was a 1977 graduate of Mexico High School. In January 1980, he began working for Love's/Dayne's Disposal and remained there for 44 years.

Chris enjoyed playing music, hunting, fishing and swimming. He also loved spending time with his family. From his battle with cancer several years ago, Chris gained a deep appreciation for the J.B. and Greeta Arthur Cancer Center.

Survivors include his wife, Georgeanna Kramer of the home; three sons, Isaiah (Chasity) Kramer of Jacksonville, North Carolina, and their children, Raiden, Justice, Emily and Kasey, Elisha "Eli" Kramer of Mexico and his daughter, Kendall, and Jeremiah Kramer of Mexico; his mother, Jean Kramer of Mexico; two brothers, Dan (Pam) Kramer of Fair Play, Missouri, and their children, Josh and Kate, and David Kramer of Newark, California, and his children, Alicia, Rachel and Marisa; mother-in-law, Peggy Erwin of Martinsburg; sister-in-law, Barb (Ed) Cope or Martinsburg; brother-in-law, Van (Sara) Johnson of Williamsburg; and many other nieces and nephews.

Chris was preceded in death by his father, Frank Kramer; and father-in-law, George Erwin.
