Charlotte Jean Martin, 71, of Auxvasse, passed away on Thursday, March 17, 2022, at University of Missouri Hospital.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, March 25, 2022 at Arnold Funeral Home with Kevin Wilkerson officiating the service.

Visitation will be on Friday, March 25, 2022 from 10:00 A.M. until time of services at the funeral home.

Mrs. Martin was born on March 26, 1950 in Mexico, the daughter of Forrest R. and Ella M. (Lamberson) Brown. On March 26, 1993, in Boonville, she married Jim Martin.

Charlotte enjoyed spending her leisure time going the Casino.  She also enjoyed feeding the humming birds that visited her home.  She even recorded the date when the humming birds arrived each season and the date that they departed.  Charlotte was an avid Elvis Presley fan.  She listened to his music and collected several pieces of memorabilia.

Survivors include he husband, Jim Martin of Auxvasse; one daughter Kelly Phillips of Auxvasse; two sisters, Jackie (Wanda Baize) Brown of McCredie, Carla Slater of Auxvasse as well as nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Martin was preceded in death by her parents, Forrest and Ella Brown; two sisters, Mary Kay Brown and Pamela Huddleston.

The family requests memorial donations be made to Shriners Children's Hospital. Memorials may be sent in care of Arnold Funeral Home, 425 S. Jefferson, Mexico, MO 65265.
