Charley Jack Hall, Sr., 72, of Mexico, passed away on Thursday, October 19, 2023, at his home.

Funeral Services will be at 7 p.m. on Monday, October 23, at Arnold Funeral Home. Visitation is Monday from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Charley was born on June 21, 1951, in Mexico, the son of Albert Jack and Nellie (Gibson) Hall. In 1972, he married Shirley Ann Jones in Mexico and they had four children together.

Mr. Hall graduated from Mexico High School and was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving as an Airborne Ranger in Vietnam. He worked at Kaiser Refractory and then as a truck driver for Bell Brothers and Foster Brothers.

Survivors include four children, Charlotte Renee (Charles) Wilson of Omaha, Nebraska, Nancy Elizabeth (Kevin) Mills of Andalusia, Alabama, Charley Jack Hall Jr. of Mexico and James Wesley (Tina) Hall of Mexico; six grandchildren, Daniel Womack, Tanner Womack, Kobin Hall, Tony Hall, Queenesther Hall and Destiny Hall; two sisters, Lydia Smith of Clark and Nancy LeBrun of Mexico; and many nieces and nephews including Justin Jones, Scott Jones and J.R. LeBrun.

Charley was preceded in death by one brother, Thomas Long; and one niece, Heather LeBrun.
