Charles Leon Lincoln, 83, of Martinsburg, passed away on Saturday, January 21, 2023, at Gamma Road Lodge in Wellsville.
Memorial services will held be at 2:00 P.M. on Monday, January 30, 2023, at First United Pentecostal Church in Mexico with Larry Baitinger officiating the service.
Visitation will be on Monday, January 30, from 12:00 P.M. until time of services at the church.
Mr. Lincoln was born on November 3, 1939 in Leasburg, the son of Henry and Myrtle (Nixon) Lincoln. On February 1, 1964 he married Joyce Camp in Mexico.
Charles loved to deer hunt and occasionally spend time fishing. He was an avid collector of older style John Deere toy tractors. Charles retired from A.P. Green Refractories. He also worked part time for the Audrain County Sheriff's department, was the City Marshall in Martinsburg and worked for the city of Martinsburg performing various maintenance tasks.
Survivors include his wife, Joyce Lincoln of Martinsburg; four children, Gwen (Roscoe) See of Montgomery City, Cory (Shelly) Lincoln of Martinsburg; Amy Byrd of Martinsburg and Charlie (Brandi) Lincoln of Montgomery City; one brother, Robert Lincoln of Cheney, WA; nine grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Mr. Lincoln was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Myrtle Lincoln; one son, Christopher Lincoln; three brothers, Richard Lincoln, Woodrow Lincoln and Burl Lincoln; two sisters, Deloris Matlock and Betty Hinten.
