Robert Carroll Love, 88, of Mexico, passed away on Tuesday, March 19, 2024, at Pin Oaks Living Center.

Graveside Services will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, March 22, at East Lawn Memorial Park with Rev. Rich Neeley officiating.

Carroll was born on September 25, 1935, in Mexico, the son of Robert Paul and Edna May (Walker) Love. On March 20, 1955, in Mexico, he married Gloria Sue Sherrow.

Mr. Love graduated from Mexico High School and had retired from National Refractories. He was a member of Union Baptist Church, where he served as a Deacon.

Survivors include his wife, Gloria Sue Love of the home; four children, Kathy Clayton of Mexico, David (Chris) Love of Elsberry, Tim (Teresa) Love of Mexico, and Mary Sue Love (Dan Klein) of St. Louis; nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Joan (Thomas) Roberts of Sedalia.

Mr. Love was preceded in death by one brother, Lawrence Love; and one sister, Connie Sue Hoover.
