Cara Carleen Webster, 56, of Auxvasse, Missouri, passed away on July 8th, 2022 peacefully in her sleep at home.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. on Friday, July 15, at Grand Prairie Baptist Church in Auxvasse with Rev. Jim Graham. Burial will follow in Auxvasse Cemetery.

Visitation is from 4-8 p.m. on Thursday evening at Arnold Funeral Home in Mexico.

Cara was born in St. Charles, Missouri on May 17th, 1966 to Bob and Joy Crites. Cara is survived by her husband Ron, of 30 years; her children, Ty Webster, Cassidy Webster, and Slaten Webster. She is survived by her parents, Bob and Joy Crites of Martinsburg, Missouri; and one sister, Tamera Clark of Martinsburg, Missouri; and six sister-in-laws; Cheryl and Mike Dempsey of Rhineland, Missouri, Judy and Brad Losch of Pittsfield, Illinois, Lisa and Troy Webb of Chillicothe, Illinois, Sheila and Levi Ladner of Rockport, Illinois, Debbie Preston of Decatur, Illinois, Jane and Spencer Douglas of Lake St. Louis, Missouri. She is also survived by 37 nieces and nephews, and 25 great nieces and nephews.

Cara graduated from North Callaway High School in 1984, where she was recognized as the first female FFA president in that chapter. She participated in band, FFA, basketball, choir, and numerous other organizations. She later graduated from William Woods with her Bachelors of Business, with a minor in Equine Science. She started working with her mother, Joy Crites, who started Crites Communications, in 1992. She worked with Crites Communications until 2008, when she started work for Kingdom Telephone Company in Auxvasse, Missouri. In 2013, she started her own telephone communication business, W5 Technology Services and has continued that until presently.

Cara raised and trained horses from an early age, starting with a pony named Lollipop. She was a part of numerous barrel racing organizations, such as, MRCA, NBHA-04, and BBR. She was fiercely passionate about her horses, barrel racing, and raising top quality prospects. Many looked to her for knowledge, advice, and her keen eye for champion horses. This keen eye was proven when she chose AKAFrenchmansFrost as a weanling out of 5,000 horses. Her love of horses was a driving force behind her incredible work ethic and dedication.

Cara touched so many lives and lived a life to its fullest. She is a true example of goodness and a servant of God. Her family was her priority, she was the most incredible wife and mother. She will be missed dearly by all who knew her. Luke 6:43-45
