Calvin D. Beal, 88, of Rush Hill, passed away on Thursday, January 13, 2022, at Pin Oaks Living Center.

Public Funeral Services will be at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at Arnold Funeral Home with Rev. Glenn Forman officiating the service. Burial will follow in Laddonia Cemetery.

Visitation is on Tuesday, January 18, 2022 from 10:00 A.M. until time of services at the funeral home.

Mr. Beal was born on August 10, 1933 in Iberia, the son of Benjamin and Eva (Russell) Beal. On February 23, 1957, in New London, he married Neoma Null.

Calvin was an avid coon hunter.  He also would spend time outdoors fishing.  Calvin would spend his leisure time going to demolition derby events.  He enjoyed junking and preparing cars for demolition derby events.  Calvin enjoyed blue grass music and would travel around the area to listen to various blue grass groups.  You might even find him dancing in the crowd.  Calvin also loved to spend time with his family.

Survivors include his wife, Neoma Beal of Rush Hill; five children, Earl (Jo) Beal of Knoxville, Iowa, Judy Rose of Benton City, Linda Welschmeyer of Martinsburg, JoAnn (Dean) Mackey of Rush Hill, Jackie (Lois) Beal of Mexico; two sisters, Cora Mae Foster of Dixon, Annie Beal of Oklahoma City, OK; three brothers, Clarence Beal of Santa Fe, Larry Beal of Moberly, Charles Beal of Mexico, as well as several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Mr. Beal was preceded in death by his parents, Benjamin and Eva Beal; one son, Vernon Beal; one son-in-law, Ronnie Welschmeyer and nine brothers and sisters.
