Brenda Kay Thomas, 67, of Fulton, passed away on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, at her daughter's home in Fulton.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Brenda was born on September 9, 1957, in Mexico, the daughter of Lillian Meteer and Gene Holtkamp. She married William Thomas, Jr. on July 26, 1981, in Hannibal. He preceded her in death on December 13, 2022.

Brenda cherished time with family and friends, especially playing rummy with her mother before her passing. She was known for her warm heart, sense of humor, and love for her grandchildren.

Brenda is survived by three children, David Thomas, Ruby Drew (Andrew Ray) and Betty Thomas; eight grandchildren, Jonathan Thomas, William Thomas, Lilian Hurt, Abbigale Drew, Dalton Thomas, Laura Hurt, Taylor Parker and Lincoln Hurt; one great-grandchild and another on the way, Jasper Thomas; and five siblings, Debbie Foster, Kevin Holtkamp, Carol Holtkamp, Becky Holtkamp and Joe Holtkamp.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lillian Meteer and Gene Holtkamp.
