Brenda Carol Smith, 75, of Mexico, passed away on Saturday, July 6, 2024, at Pin Oaks Living Center.

Brenda was born on August 29, 1948 in Salem, New Jersey, the daughter of Raymond and Catherine (Saul) Husted.

Brenda's passion for cooking and sharing meals brought joy to many. Her creativity shone through her dedication to arts and crafts, filling her free time with beauty and inspiration. Her empathetic spirit made her a great listener, always ready to offer thoughtful advice.

Survivors include one daughter; Candi (Randy) Crenshaw of Mexico; one sister, Lorane DeMarco of Landisville, NJ; seven grandchildren, Danielle Todd, Felisha Gannon, Heather Shipley, Steven Shipley, Amanda Gannon, Jennifer Varner, William Varner and eight great-grandchildren.

Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Catherine Husted; one daughter, Tammy Sassi, and one brother, Raymond Husted.
