Betty L. (Crum) Foster, 88, of Thompson, passed away on Monday, December 13, 2021, at her home.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, December 17, 2021 at Arnold Funeral Home with Rev. Randy Jones officiating the service. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 17 from 9:00 A.M. until time of services at the funeral home.
Ms. Foster was born on April 19, 1933 in Rolla, the daughter of David and Leuna (Hussey) Crum.
Betty loved spending time with her siblings and their families. Family was very important to her and she always stayed " in touch". Betty had a passion for tending her Rose gardens, collecting angel figurines, and collecting old bottles. She loved Bluegrass music and George Jones. Betty enjoyed dancing, she would always be the first one on the dance floor, coaxing everyone else to join her. She loved a good old fashioned " shindig". Betty enjoyed traveling. She loved to take road trips with her kids and siblings. Betty had a passion for the old-fashioned kind of life. She loved her independence and was always willing and ready to go anywhere. Betty was full of life and adventure.
Survivors include her nine children, Linda Wofford of Mexico, Darrell (Becky) Holt Ragan of Monett, Roger Holt of Mexico, Theresa Holt Greeno of Rolla, Donna Huff of Jefferson City, Charlotte (Markus) Mosley of Mexico, Charles (Elva) Glenn of Mexico and Karen (John) Herron of Thompson.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, David and Leuna Crum and eight siblings, Harley Crum, William Crum, Beulah Frey, Mildred Matthews, Dorothy Pierce, Wanetta Crum, Shirley Waller and Joyce Crum.
The family requests memorial donations be made to Alzheimer's Association. Memorials may be sent in care of Arnold Funeral Home, 425 S. Jefferson, Mexico, MO 65265.
