Barbara Kathleen Smith, 72, passed away on Friday, April 26, 2024, at Monroe Manor in Paris, Missouri.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, May 3, 2024, at Arnold Funeral Home. Rev. Jimmie Stewart will be officiating the service.  Burial will follow in East Lawn Memorial Park.

Visitation will be held from 12:00 P.M. until time of service on Friday, May 3, at Arnold Funeral Home.

Barbara was born on July 12, 1951 in Moberly, the daughter of Clifford Emory Davidson Sr. and Dorothy Mae (Brewer) Davidson.  She was previously married for 45 years to Alfred Edward Smith.

Barbara was a proud member of TOPS for several years.  She was an avid reader and enjoyed coloring books.  Barbara enjoyed shooting black powder guns and throwing tomahawks. She loved her grandchildren and spending time with them whenever possible.

Survivors include one son, Thomas (Amy) Smith of St. Charles; two daughters, Valerie (Shannon) Brightwell of Thompson and Deborah (Andy) Corey of Philadelphia, MO; 11 grandchildren, Tessa (fiancé Alex Schuering), Carson Smith, Alexandrea (Adrain) Chong, Joseph Brightwell, Grantland Brightwell, Tevin Vore, Tyler Vore, Makalya Corey, Katherine Corey, Abbigail Corey and Andrew Corey; one great-granddaughter, Emersyn Crane; one brother, Ronald (Tina) Davidson of Williamsburg; one sister, Sandra (Glen) Morgan of Paris.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Clifford and Dorothy Davidson; one brother, Clifford Davidson and one sister, Betty Jo Curtis.
