Barbara J. Berry, 81, of Mexico, passed away on Thursday, November 4, 2021, at Heritage Hall Skilled Nursing in Centralia.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, November 9, 2021 at East Lawn Memorial Park with Rev. Bob Stanford conducting the service.

Mrs. Berry was born on January 8, 1940 in Mexico, the daughter of Verna and Mary (Jones) Baysinger. On February 17, 1961, in Mexico, she married Gaither Berry, Jr. who preceded her in death.

Barbara loved her family.  She cherished the time she spent with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  In her younger days she dedicated time to the 4-H program and would spend leisure time participating in bowling leagues.  Barbara was a member of the First Nazarene Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Karen Berry of Mustang, OK and Sharen Berry of Farber; one son, Roger Berry of Rush Hill; three brothers, Jack (Barbara) Baysinger of Mexico, John Baysinger of California, Vern (Linda) Baysinger of Mexico; one sister, Shirley Anderson of Mexico; eight grandchildren, Harley Fowler, Katlyn Fowler, Wyatt Berry, Kaleb Berry, Maddy Berry, Jesse Worthington, Kelsey Worthington, Jammer Metheny and six great-grandsons and many nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Berry was preceded in death by her husband, Gaither Berry, Jr.; parents, Verna and Mary Baysinger; two sisters, Jane Toalson and Patsy Eager; one brother, Russell Baysinger.
