Barbara Sue Baysinger, 86, passed away Monday, June 8th , 2026,  after spending time with her loved ones at Ravenwood Memory Care in Moberly, Mo.

Born in the Laddonia area on May 19, 1940, she was the daughter of Flay Durham and Mary Graupman Durham.  She graduated from Mexico High School in 1959 and started working at the MFA Mill.  She met and married Jack Baysinger on November 19, 1960 and had a long and loving marriage with him, filled with laughter through the good times and a tight bond when going through challenges.  They had recently celebrated their 65th anniversary.

Barbara loved nothing more than making a home for her husband, Jack and children, Lisa and Darren.  She held different jobs throughout her years.  The last of which before she retired was as a medical transcriptionist for the Arthur Center.

She loved baking for her grandsons and everything always tasted better when Grandma made it! Barb was an avid reader and could usually be found with a book in her hand when she had a spare moment.  She and Jack loved to travel.  They had many adventures to a variety of places with family and friends.  They especially enjoyed their retirement time when they were snowbirds in Texas for several years.

Barb is survived by her husband, Jack; children Lisa & Jim Bradley of Moberly, Darren & Kim Baysinger of St. Charles, grandsons Jordan & Jamie Bradley of Jefferson City, Jay & Stephanie Bradley of Columbia, Jack Baysinger of St. Charles and Jared Baysinger of Brooklyn, New York, great-grandchildren, Oren, Alton, Parker and a Baby Girl due July 2026.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved brothers and their wives, Jack & Nora Durham and Frank & Glynn Durham.

Visitation will be at 1 pm at Arnold Funeral Home and the funeral service will follow at 2pm. Graveside services will be at East Lawn Memorial Park.

Donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Society in Barbara's name.

A special thank you goes to the ladies at Ravenwood Memory Care for taking care of Barb with compassion and thoughtfulness as she took this journey home.
