Arlene Dale Holden, 84, of Jonesburg, passed away on Friday, November 18, 2022, at Kingdom Care Senior Living in Fulton.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.

Arlene was born on September 7, 1938, in Washburn, ND, the daughter of Daniel and Ada (Babnick) Tjenstrom. She married Kenneth Duane Holden on September 10, 1960, in California.

Arlene was a graduate of Washburn High School. She was a member of the Lutheran Church in Jonesburg and a founding member of the Jonesburg Lioness Club. In addition to working as the elementary school secretary, she was an excellent cook, seamstress and cake decorator.

She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Holden; two children, Barbara Brouster of Kingdom City and Barry Holden of CA; four grandchildren, Timothy Holden and Jessica Holden both of CA, Samantha Holden of FL and Sarah (Brent) Sims of Mexico; and two great-granddaughters, Kaycee and Allison both of Mexico.

Arlene was preceded in death by her parents, Daniel and Ada Tjenstrom; son-in-law, Robert Brouster; grandson, Dale Brouster; and an infant sister.
