Anthony Wayne Reifsteck, age 65, of Mexico, passed away Thursday, December 11, 2025, at his home.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, December 18, at Arnold Funeral Home. Memorial services will follow at 7 p.m. at the funeral home, with Kevin Wilkerson officiating.

Tony was born August 19, 1960, in Mexico, the son of Wayne and Carol Ann (Brown) Reifsteck. He was united in marriage to Laura Ann Hank on June 14, 2018, in Mexico.

Tony was a 1978 graduate of Warren County R-3 High School where he was avid in sports.  He was named to the all-conference squad as a first team member as an offensive guard in football and was also a member of the golf team.  During the summer, Tony played baseball where his Dad was his coach for many years.  After his Khoury League years, he played slow pitch softball on men's leagues and also played co-ed softball with his sister, Christine.

Tony worked at Dairy Queen during his high school years where there were many shenanigans to be had.  He later spent a short time on a road crew at Missouri Petroleum with his buddies and then went on to work as a machinist at The Binkley Company for 20 years before dedicating the last 26 years of his life to cattle farming.

Tony enjoyed hunting and archery and was a member of an archery club many years ago. He also loved music, float trips, and cars. Above all, he cherished his family and was well known for his sense of humor and joking nature.

Survivors include his wife, Laura Reifsteck of the home; his daughters, Karlie (Andrew) Monroe and their son, Henry, of Gulfport, Mississippi, Theresa Kramer (Alex Carpenter) of Mexico, and Samantha Reifsteck of St. Louis; two sisters, Christine Reifsteck-Sanders of Mexico and Rebecca (Rick) Spoede of Warrenton; nieces, Maggie (Trenton) Oberlag and their sons, Clayton and Connor, of Calwood, and Paige Spoede Faircloth of Kansas City; nephews, Cory  Spoede (Brittany Cooper) of Warrenton and Steven (Meggan) Sanders of Warrenton; one aunt, Marsha Arnett of Mexico; and many cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Wayne and Carol Reifsteck, and his grandparents.
