Anna Marie Berry, 63, of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, departed this life on January 11, 2023, with her family by her side following a battle with serious health problems.

Funeral Services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 25, at Arnold Funeral Home with Rev. Ron Tooley officiating. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until time of service at the funeral home.

Anna was born in Mexico, Missouri, on June 20, 1959, to Raymond and Eulastine (Tate) Williams. She was the next to the youngest of the six children.

Anna grew up in Mexico, where she attended and graduated from Mexico Senior High School in 1978. Anna would go on to attend Lincoln University before coming back home to work for Audrain Medical Center in the healthcare field. This was a trait that was instilled in her growing up.

She loved to collect jewelry, spend time with family and friends, cook, watch wrestling and helping people.  She was a diehard Green Bay Packers fan.

Anna leaves behind her husband, David Lee Berry, Sr.; sons, David Lee Williams, Jr., Bradley (Cara) Berry and Brian (Pam) Berry all of Columbia; God sons, Bradley David and Timothy Connell; grandchildren, Abreille Berry, Bradley Berry, Jr., Joleena Berry, Nautica Berry, Antonio Williams and Andre Julian; great-grandson, Ja'Khyon Berry; brothers, Raymond (Carol) Williams, Jr. of Peoria, IL and Stevie (Teresa) Williams of Kansas City; sister, Esta Blackwell of Laurens, IA; God sister, Brenda Garrett of Mexico; nieces and nephews, Antwaine, Tysha, Ste-Vee Rayelle, Jason, Tina, Asia, Angie, Carlos, Gregg, Missy, Darita and Calvin; along with a host of cousins and other relatives and friends.

Anna is preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Eulastine Williams.

She was a strong, but soft-spoken woman that touched the hearts of those that had the pleasure of meeting and being around her. Her smile was contagious along with that oh so familiar laugh that was often heard if you were around her. If you ever had a conversation with Anna, you knew that the last words that you would hear were, "I love you."
