Angela Marie Arel, 47, of Merritt Island, Florida, passed away on September 5, 2022, in Merritt Island.

Memorial Services will be at 10:30 a.m.  on Monday, September 12, at Georgianna Church, 3925 South Tropical Trail, Merritt Island, FL 32952. A luncheon will follow at River Rocks, 6485 South US 1, Rockledge, FL 32955.

Memorial Services in Missouri will be at a later date.

Angie was born on August 8, 1975, in Las Vegas, Nevada, the daughter of Larry Dean Bennett and Christine Rosner Bennett. On May 29, 2021, she married John Paul (JP) Arel in Kissimmee, Florida.

Mrs. Arel graduated from St. Charles High School. She then graduated from Lindenwood College and Webster University, obtaining her Master's Degree in Behavior Analysis.

Angie was a Behavior Analyst for BCBA and then became the Founder, Owner and Executive Director of Amazing Gains Behavior Therapy Services. She took great pride in creating, building and running her company. Her family was her utmost importance and her work within the autism community was her passion.

She loved family gatherings and was a fierce advocate for her loved ones. Angie was known for her sayings "always grant grace" and "do the next right thing", memories that certainly will be missed. She also enjoyed scrapbooking, playing basketball and roller skating.

Survivors include her father, Larry Dean (step-mother Barbara Ann) Bennett; loving husband, John Paul Arel; children, Alyssa Marie (Bradley) Johnson, Amber Chrisrine Olson, Kasi Dawn (Joseph) Punzalan, and Don Douglas Smith; granddaughter, Paige Johnson; siblings, Eric (Jaime) Bennett, Thomas (Jessica) Everett, Jeremey Bennett, Jessica (Conrad) Boyle, Margret (Timothy) Dixon, Samuel Everett, William (Kathryn) Everett, Allen (Lauren) Bennett, Brian Bennett, Jason (Ashley) Bennett, and Joseph Bennett; and her in-laws, John and Margo Arel.

Angie was preceded in death by her mother, Christine McCoy; and her grandparents, Harold Bennett, Ann Bennett, Margaret Rosner and Clarence Rosner.
