Angela Marcee Acosta Wilson, 63, of Mexico, passed away on Friday, October 6, 2023, at her home.

A Celebration of Life will be at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, October 12, at the First United Pentecostal Church.

Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until time of services at the church.

Angela was born on February 10, 1960, in Hannibal, the daughter of Robert and Phyllis (Stewart) Dopp. She married Phil Wilson on September 13, 2003, in Mexico.

Angela was in the Army from 1991 – 1999. From 2007 – 2013 she was in the National Guard Reserve. Angela was a leader and took pride in her career. She was an LPN and nursing home administrator for over 30 years. At the end of her career, she was the executive training director for Palmer Home Care.

She enjoyed crocheting and going camping. She loved spending time with her family, which included her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Angela was a member of the First United Pentecostal Church and her church family was a high priority to her.

Angela is survived by her husband, Phil Wilson; two children, James (Melinda) Fierge of Centralia and Chrisin Thompson of Mexico; six grandchildren, Angela, Zoe, John, Jesse, Melody and Mikeal; two great-grandchildren, Liana and Josie; five siblings, Stewart (Kelly) Acosta, Sharon Dopp Johnson, Stephen (John) Dopp, Adell (Jeff) Comstock and Anita (Brian) Orf; and mother-in-law, Minnie Wilson.
