Andrew Joseph "Drew" Quinn, 50, passed away peacefully, surrounded by love, at his home in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, on February 12, 2026, at 5:00 a.m., after a courageous battle with glioblastoma. Born July 6, 1975, in Monroe City, Missouri, to Robert Joseph "Bob" and Debra Ann (Hardy) Quinn, Drew carried his Midwest roots with him wherever life led.

A 1993 graduate of Monroe City R-1 High School, Drew was known early on for his competitive spirit and athleticism, earning All-State honors in both basketball and football. Sports were more than a pastime; they were life. He went on to play college basketball at Hannibal-LaGrange College, where his team reached the NCAA Tournament. He graduated in 1998 with a degree in Mathematics Education, a reflection of both his sharp mind and his love for teaching.

Drew began his career teaching math and coaching basketball at Hannibal High School, pouring his energy into shaping young athletes and students. In 2000, drawn by warm weather and a love for St. Louis Cardinals spring training, he made his way to South Florida - a move that would become home for the next 26 years, with a brief chapter in North Carolina. In 2006, he served as a volunteer assistant coach for the Winthrop Eagles during their NCAA Tournament run. Over the years, he was the head coach at several Florida high schools and taught high school math. He ultimately concluded his coaching and teaching career at Palm Beach Gardens Community High School in 2017. Known for his leadership and dedication, Drew was honored as Palm Beach County Conference Athletic Coach of the Year for three consecutive years and was also named Park Vista Coach of the Year.

On July 11, 2009, Drew married Melissa Heath of Ramsey, New Jersey. Their shared devotion to their daughters remained one of the most important bonds of his life.

Never one to sit still long, Drew embraced life with curiosity and movement. He loved remodelling homes, playing golf and basketball, practicing yoga, traveling, and diving into conversations about sports - where his encyclopedic knowledge of statistics, players, and team history amazed fellow sports enthusiasts. As a certified BreathWorks instructor, Drew encouraged others to find strength, balance, and resilience. He was a proud member of the Indian Creek Knights of Columbus and a member of Family Church in Palm Beach Gardens, where faith and community remained important parts of his life.

After years in education, Drew transitioned into medical sales in 2018, working with Arthrex Biotech in orthopedic implants and later with Smith & Nephew in wound care. His ability to connect with people — whether students, athletes, colleagues, or patients — brought Drew fulfilment and success.

Above all else, Drew's greatest role and deepest joy was being a father. He rarely missed a chance to cheer from the sidelines at his daughters' soccer games with unwavering pride. He is survived by his beloved daughters, Audra Rose Quinn, 14, and Allyson Monroe Quinn, 13, of Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. He is also survived by his brother, Alan Quinn (fiancé Abby Nemes) of Monroe City, Missouri; his sister, Kelly (Eric) Asquino of Palos Verdes Estates, California; and his cherished nieces and nephews: Cole of Jupiter, Florida; Kenadi of Dallas, Texas; Carter of Jerseyville, Illinois; and Lillian and Quinn Asquino of Palos Verdes Estates, California. Drew leaves behind many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, former players, friends, and colleagues whose lives were forever shaped by his guidance, humor, and heart.

Drew will be remembered as a passionate father, loyal friend, fierce competitor, and teacher at heart - someone who lived fully, loved deeply, and left a lasting imprint on the people and communities around him. He loved to make others laugh and never shied away from being the center of attention, often going over the top with his humor and playful spirit.

Drews life will be celebrated at St. Stephen's Catholic Church in Indian Creek, Missouri, on Saturday, March 7, 2026. Visitation will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., followed by a funeral liturgy at 11:00 a.m. Wearing bright colors to celebrate Drews life, is encouraged.  The liturgy will be live streamed from "Drew Quinn's Updates" page on Facebook.
