Andrew C.
Beasley
May 9, 1972 — Sep 18, 2026
Mexico, Missouri
Andrew C. Beasley, 54, of Mexico, passed away on Friday, September 18, 2026, at the University of Missouri Hospital.
Memorial services will be 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 24, 2026 at Friendship Baptist Church in Mexico.
A visitation will be held at 12:30 until the time of the service at the church.
Andrew was born on May 9, 1972 in Smithville, Missouri, the son of Floyd Beasley and Ruth Ann Cain. On June 4, 1994 he married Sheila Mitchell in Auxvasse.
Andy was a man who found joy in the simple things and, most importantly, in the people around him. He loved his family dearly and especially enjoyed spending time with his children and visiting with relatives. He had a genuine love for people, and he never knew a stranger—he could strike up a conversation with just about anyone and was always happy to talk. He had a great sense of humor and was known for his dad jokes, which often brought a smile or laugh to those around him. He enjoyed watching old television shows, especially The Andy Griffith Show, as well as Westerns and wrestling. He loved reading books and comic books, watching superhero movies, and listening to music. He also enjoyed learning about his family history and genealogy and took pride in knowing where he came from. His faith was important to him, and he enjoyed going to church. Above all, he was a devoted family man and, without a doubt, a proud momma’s boy who held a special place in his heart for his mother. He will be remembered for his kind heart, easy conversation, wonderful sense of humor, and the way he made those around him feel welcome and loved.
Survivors include his wife of the home, Sheila; three children, Josh Beasley of Columbia, Beth Beasley of Mexico and Cari (Eric) Fleming of Jefferson City; two siblings, Bryan Beasley of Mexico and Kristen Layman of Mexico. He is also survived by three nieces Shelby, Katelyn and Maria, who he loved dearly; as well as several great nephews and nieces.
Andy was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Ruth Ann Beasley.
The family requests memorial donations be made to the Epilepsy Foundation of America. Memorials may be sent in care of Arnold Funeral Home, 425 S. Jefferson, Mexico, MO 65265.
