Allan Lee Hoover of Auxvasse, passed away on January 8, 2025, at the University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia.  He was born on July 29, 1946, in Callaway County, Missouri, the son of Ernest Hoover and Veneta Hoover.  Allan was a graduate of Auxvasse High School and was a member of the Grand Prairie Baptist Church in Auxvasse.

Allan was a farmer, living on the family farm and he enjoyed hunting and fishing, especially with his family.  For the past five years, he has been a resident of the Villa on Blue Ridge in Columbia.

Allan is survived by one sister, Edith (Henry) Loyd of Branson and one brother-in-law, Elbert Turner of Agency and many nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Veneta Hoover, and three sisters, Retha (Charles) Wilson, Bonnie (Elbert) Turner and Shirley (Dennis) Humphreys.

A celebration of life will be held on a future date.
