Obituary
Frances LaVern Coil, 87 of Benton City, died at 10:51 a.m. Thursday, July 1, 2010 at Golden Living Center - Pin Oaks.
LaVern was born Aug. 4, 1922 in Younger, Missouri, the daughter of Jasper and Elsie (Garrett) Rodgers. On Feb. 18, 1945 at the First Christian Church in Mexico, she married J.W. Coil. He survives at the home.
Mrs. Coil attended Benton City Christian Church and enjoyed quilting and gardening.
In addition to her husband, J.W., LaVern is survived by one son, Kenny Coil and wife, Becky of Benton City; three granddaughters, Dawn (Scott) Moore of Quincy, IL, Lybbye Coil of Benton City and Jo Ellen (Aaron) Windmann of Rush Hill; and six great-grandchildren.
LaVern was preceded in death by one brother and two sisters.
