Obituary
Veda Pearl Porter, 87 of Mexico, died Thursday, June 24, 2010 at North Village Care Center in Moberly, MO.
Veda was born August 28, 1922 in Huntington, MO, the daughter of Earl and Nadine Turpin. On August 28, 1941, she married John L. Porter in Ralls County, MO. He preceded her in death on May 14, 1981.
She is survived by two daughters, Deana Gentry, and husband Steve of Mexico and Linda Crouch of Mexico; one son, Eugene Porter and wife Ruth of Eufaula, AL; five grandchildren, Sabrina Heuer and husband Brian, Angie Gentry and husband Darrell Jaeger, Jeff Brumback and wife Elizabeth, Misty Brewer and Billie Jean Porter; six great-grandchildren, Austin Heuer, Shelby Brumback, Evan Brumback, Veda Crouch, Thomas Brewer and Anthony Brewer.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and one daughter Connie Louise Porter.
