Obituary
Mildred Power, 85 of Mexico, died Wednesday, May 26, 2010 at Boone Hospital Center in Columbia.
Mildred was born in Paris, MO on July 6, 1924, the daughter of Artie Glenn and Lula Mae (Daugherty) Huffman. She attended and graduated from Paris High School and on Sept. 26, 1943 she married Robert Waller Power in Paris. He preceded her in death in May, 1953.
She is survived by three sons, Reggie Power and wife Cathy of Rocheport, Rex Power and wife Louise of Defiance, and Rodney Power of Rocheport. She is also survived by four grandchildren, Kirsteen James and husband Brad, Brandon Power, Emma O’Connell and husband Scott, and Roberta Power, 3 great-grandchildren, a brother Harold Huffman and wife Juanita of Paris, and a sister Doris Smoot of Kennewick, WA.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a brother Ivan Huffman and a sister Artie Bannister.
