Obituary
Shirley D. Phillips, 74 of Mexico, died at 3:10 p.m. Friday, May 7, 2010 at Audrain Medical Center.
Shirley was born Sept. 28, 1935 in Moberly, the daughter of Orville E. and Ruby (Miles) Darst. On June 12, 1953 in Mexico, she married Gerald W. (Jack) Phillips Jr. He died on Mary 29, 2002.
Mrs. Phillips was a homemaker.
Survivors include her children, Randy Phillips of Peoria Heights, IL and Rhonda Clark and husband, Jim, of Madison; four grandchildren, Jack, Jake and John Clark of Madison and Jason Phillips of Peoria Heights, IL; one great-grandchild, Brayden Clark; one brother, Billy Darst of Madison; one sister, Juanita Bird and husband, Lucian, of Mexico; sister-in-law, Roberta Stinett and husband, Scott, of Mexico; brothers-in-law, Robert Phillips and wife, Kim, of Mexico, Richard Phillips and wife, Barbara, of Parkersburg, West Virginia, Clarence “C.J.” and wife, Jean, of Sarasota, FL and Billy Phillips and wife, Trudy, of Lexington, KY; and nieces and nephews, Denny Bird and wife, Nancy, of Mexico, Brenda Beatty of Iowa, Debbie Adkisson and husband, Randy, of Mexico and Terri Schremp and husband, Richard, of Mexico.
In addition to her husband, Shirley was preceded in death by her parents.
