Obituary
Marvin Elwood “Woody” Adams, 75 of Mexico died Thursday April 29, 2010 at Pin Oaks.
Wood was born on Oct. 26, 1934 in Forest Green, MO, the son of Samuel and Fountie Marie (Barnes) Adams. On Oct. 25, 1953 he married Marian Wyatt in Paris, MO. She preceded him on death on Oct. 2, 2002.
He is survived by two sons; David Adams and wife Kathy of Columbia, Bill Adams of Paris; two granddaughters, Elizabeth Nettles and husband Lucas of Walterboro, S.C. and Leslie Adams of New York, NY abd a brother, Gene Adams of Moberly.
Along with his wife Marian, Woody was preceded in death by a daughter, Betty Adams, his parents and two brothers, George and Ralph Adams.
Woody was a truck driver for Wetterau Foods and a member of the First Presbyterian Church and the Mexico Moose Lodge.
