Obituary
Brenda Sue Caldwell, 60 of Mexico, died at 12:38 a.m. Saturday, April 24, 2010 at Audrain Medical Center.
Brenda was born Nov. 10, 1949 in Mexico, the daughter of Kerwin Lew and June (Kelly) Caldwell.
After graduating from Gem City Business College in Quincy, she worked one year for the FBI and then for Motorola in Quincy. For the last 34 years, she worked at Audrain Medical Center.
Ms. Caldwell was a member of Friendship Baptist Church. There she helped with preschool, Sunday school, the nursery, bible study, prayer partner, military boxes and the Franklin Graham Samaritan Purse.
Survivors include her mother, June Caldwell of Mexico; one brother, Randy Caldwell and wife, Pat, of Vandalia; two nieces, Jan Moore of Auxvasse and Jill Lybarger and husband, Adam, of Sedalia; one great-niece, Abigail Moore; and one great-nephew, Connor Lybarger.
Brenda was preceded in death by her father, Lew Caldwell.
Memorials may be made to the Friendship Children’s Group.
