Obituary
Mary Frances Curtis, 82 of Centralia, formerly of Mexico, died at 1:47 p.m. Saturday, April 17, 2010 at Audrain Medical Center.
Mary was born Oct. 24, 1927 in Benton City, Missouri, the daughter of Walter S. and Stella M. (Miller) Curtis.
Ms. Curtis was a member of Second Missionary Baptist Church. Years ago, she had worked at Audrain Medical Center.
Survivors include two sons, Harold Curtis and wife, JoAnn, of Columbia and John M. Curtis of Mexico; two daughters, Shirley Bouie of Joliet, IL and Carolyn S. Tate and husband, Charles, of Shorewood, IL; two brothers, Nathaniel “Bud” Curtis of Mexico and John Ocrey and wife, Wanda, of Columbia; one sister, Eula Jones of Chicago, IL; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Walter Curtis and Stella Ocrey; one granddaughter, Tina Curtis; one brother, Joe Miller; and one sister-in-law, Pat Curtis.
