Obituary
Letha M. Nelson, 93 of Lake Ozark, died at 6:35 a.m. Friday, March 19, 2010 at Osage Beach Health Care.
Letha was born September 14, 1916 in Benton City, the daughter of John and Dora (Johnson) Stumpf. On December 21, 1935 she married Richard “Buck” Nelson in Winchester, Ill, who preceded her in death on January 1, 1989.
Letha was a member of First Presbyterian Church and also was a Pink Lady at Audrain Medical Center.
Survivors include her daughter Linda Schmidt and husband Ervin of Lake Ozark; four grandchildren, Rich Peak of Lake Ozark, Daniel Schmidt of Osage Beach, Jeffery Schmidt and wife Tiffany of Lake Elsinore, CA and Jennifer Turner and husband Will of Carona, CA and seven great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by her daughter Carol Nelson and four brothers, Finley Stumpf, Johnny Stumpf, Barney Stumpf and Earl Stumpf.
