Obituary
Sarah Lavon Stapleton, 77 of Mexico, formerly of Lexington, MO, died on Saturday, March 27, 2010 at Golden Living Center-Pin Oaks in Mexico.
She was born on June 23, 1932, the daughter of Walter and Artie (Alkire) Stapleton. She lived in Lexington for 40 years before moving to Mexico in 2005.
Ms. Stapleton had done upholstery work. Years ago, she was a member of the First Christian Church in Mexico.
Survivors include nieces; Pam (Phil) Hahn of Mexico, Lucille (Clifford) Jeffries of Mexico, Deanna (Norman) Good of Atlanta, GA, Virginia(Jim) Renfro of Summerville, S.C. and nephews J.D.(Shannon) Paschal of Illinois, Butch (Glenda) Paschal of Auxvasse, and John (Cookie) Paschal of Illinois. She is also survived by many great-nieces and nephews and cousins.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters; Helen O'Rourke and Agnes Craven.
