Obituary
Evelyn P. Newbrough, 90 of Mexico, died at 8:05 a.m. Saturday, January 30, 2010 at Audrain Medical Center.
Evelyn was born April 23, 1919 in Bartonville, Illinois, the daughter of Glen E. and Olive E. (Sparks) Pierson. On October 7, 1939 she married Robert A. Newbrough in Paris, Missouri. He preceded her in death on September 12, 1981.
Survivors include her son Robert Newbrough and fiancee Darla Sleeth of Centralia; five grandchildren, Melissa Mechlin of Sturgeon, Julie Blair of Mexico, Kevin Newbrough of Mexico, Mendy Jo Price of Florida and Lori Ann Newbrough of St. Louis; eight great-grandchildren and one sister Juanita Vaverka of Waterlou, Iowa.
In addition to her husband Evelyn was preceded in death by her son, Charles Newbrough and one sister.
