Obituary
Jeanetta Mae (Jackson) Burton, 70 of Mexico died Saturday December 19, 2009 at Golden Living Center – Pin Oaks.
Jean was born on March 18, 1939 in Mexico to LeRoy Jackson and Mary Jane Dickson. She married Thomas W. Burton on May 12, 1964 in Mexico. He preceded her in death.
Jean was a homemaker and was a member of St. Paul CME Church.
Jean is survived by one sister Carolyn L. Burton of Des Moines, Iowa; one brother, Lonnie Jackson of Mexico; her children, Linda Jackson of Mexico, Mary Williams and husband Nathaniel of Mexico, Raymond E. Jackson of Mexico, Sharon C. Whitfield of Mexico, Patricia Daugherty of Springfield, Illinois, Thomas Burton Jr. of Des Moines, Iowa, Lonnie L. Burton of Des Moines, Iowa, Daniel Burton of Mexico and Rita E. Burton of Mexico; 22 grandchildren; a host of great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Donald Jackson and her son, Lawrence Edward Burton.
