Obituary
Clarence Eugene Williams, 55 of Mexico, died Monday, December 14, 2009 at his home.
Gene was born February 2, 1954 in Mexico, the son of Clarence and Kathryn Williams.
Mr. Williams was a member of Second Missionary Baptist Church. He had worked for the City of Mexico. Gene loved to fish, play baseball, bowling and was a member of the Gentlemen’s Club.
Survivors include his companion, Janice Jennings of the home; five stepsons, Bobby Lee Jennings, Michael Jennings, Antonio Valdez, James Price Jennings and Danny Eugene Jennings, all of Mexico; one stepdaughter, Shaneice Lucas of Mexico; one goddaughter, Kanesha Smith of Jefferson City; step-grandchildren, Demaria Xavier Holman, Di-jon, Bianca, Zaire, Jamiroquai, Khadijah, Shanqkue, Javol, Shayann and Drew Bradley; brothers and sister, Edward Williams and wife Patricia, of Mexico, Clifford Williams and wife Mary, of El Central, California, John Williams and wife Barbara, of Mexico, Robert Williams of Mexico, Robert Exford and wife Janet, of Kansas City, Nathaniel Williams and wife Mary, of Mexico, Randy Williams and wife Teresa, of Mexico, David Fisher of Mexico and Carolyn Sue Tate and husband Charles, of Rock Island, Illinois; two aunts, Minnie Simmons of Centralia and Fannie Williams of Centralia; and several nieces and nephews.
Gene was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers and sister, James Robert Long, Martha Louise Jefferson and Elmer Williams.
