Obituary
Edith Faye Potter, 86 of Mexico, died Tuesday, Oct. 6, 2009 at Heritage Hall Nursing Home in Centralia.

Faye was born on July 26, 1923 in Monroe County, the daughter of Arch and Ruth (White) Comstock. On April 19, 1946 she married John H. Potter in Paris, MO. He preceded her in death on March 29, 1987.

She was a member of Love Street Christian Church, had worked at Moore’s Grocery and the Shoe Factory and A.P. Green’s during the war. She was an active member of the VFW Women’s Auxiliary.

She is survived by four children; Anne Johnson of Mexico, Donald Jaeger and wife Shirley of Corvallis, MT, Howard J. Potter and Linda of Corvallis, MT and Sandra Guinnip and Jay of Centralia; 11 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two infant brothers.

Memorials may be made to the VFW for the continued care of the flags they provide.
