Obituary
Regina A. Talken, 81 of Mexico, died at 6:45 p.m. Tuesday, July 28, 2009 at Boone Hospital Center in Columbia.
Regina was born May 24, 1928 in Westphalia, the daughter of Gerhard and Adelaide (Sheppers) Veltrop.
Mrs. Talke in survived by two sons, Jerry Talken and wife, Linda, of St. Charles and Jeffrey Talken of Mexico; four daughters, Jane Pilger and husband, Gary, of Mexico, Jeannie Durham and husband, Wayne, of Ft. Wayne, Ind., June McGinnis and husband, Jim, of Mexico and Jackie Brown and husband, Brian, of Columbia; nine grandchildren, Lisa Mouser, Lorie Lemley, Mathew Pilger, Michelle Humphrey, Rebecca Keithley, Tiffany Durham, John McGinnis, Gina McGinnis, and Brianna Brown; 12 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Lorraine Kempker of Mexico and Clara Jane Lewis of St. Charles.
Regina was preceded in death by her parents; seven brothers, Henry, Ray, Alphonse, George, Vincent, Louis and one infant; and one sister, Ella Stegeman.
